In depth

Verdict

The three that we like the look of here are Commercial Flyer, Jockser and Up At Midnight, with the vote going to Commercial Flyer. The form of Commercial Flyer's second to Monte Cinto at Warwick in November has been boosted since by his victor's subsequent form, and, much as he has not been seen since, his trainer is adept at readying them after a break. Reap's fourth to Penzance at Huntingdon reads pretty well and he could go well, while the handicapper might have caught up with Come Bye now, and Tomina probably needs to find improvement to score. Jockser showed improved from to score at Huntingdon last time, and was backed to do so. Ok, he may have coped with the underfoot conditions that day better than most, but he still warrants serious consideration in this contest. Up At Midnight has a similar profile and should go well following his battling Kempton success. Master Mahogany found only the interesting Foodbroker Founder too good last time and holds place claims, but Paul Nicholls' Nanga Parbat has so far proved a little disappointing. This returns us to the selection, which is Commercial Flyer.
