Verdict

Soir D'Estruval was third on his UK debut at Market Rasen last month and should strip fitter here but Alan King's French import may struggle to concede 4lb to OUR FATHER. David Pipe's five-year-old caught a tartar in Listenlook at Chepstow last time but the latter is held in high regard and there doesn't look as though there's anything among the opposition here with quite the same potential. Forlovenormoney hasn't raced since failing to sparkle at Hereford in November and will surely do better when tackling fences while Victoria Rose may have been flattered to finish third in a better race at Ascot last time, though is probably still improving.
