    Verdict

Clever Bob was only beaten half-a-length in a maiden auction event at Windsor on debut but this is probably a better race. Richard Hughes would have had the pick of Richard Hannon's three runners and has chosen. DYLLAN (NAP) ahead of the Kyllachy newcomer Wiley Post and Scottish Command, even though the latter was only beaten three lengths in a Class 3 contest at York on his second start. Hughes' mount missed the break on his introduction at Newmarket but still had every chance inside the final furlong and will be better for the outing. Peter Park wasn't disgraced over track and trip three weeks ago but shapes as though an extra furlong wouldn't come amiss. Plantation makes most appeal of the newcomers and is preferred to Brighton third Whitman of the others.
