ARABIAN PEARL is taken to get the better of Ocean Transit and Shangani. The selection hails from the Peter Chapple-Hyam yard and she ran well on her handicap debut at Carlisle when chasing home Mo Mhuirnin. She is clearly capable of getting competitive off her current mark and she should take plenty of beating. Ocean Transit looks the obvious alternative as she won last time when beating Den's Gift at Warwick. She was good value for her winning margin that day and she should give the selection a race. Shangani is a lightly-raced filly making her handicap debut but it could be asking a lot of her to get her head in front today off this mark in such a competitive affair. Cape Melody won well last time and this step-up in trip should not inconvenience her so she is another to consider. There are plenty in with chances and the vote goes to Arabian Pearl.
