Verdict

In another competitive handicap the selection lands on the side of SCARCITY, after her bold bid to follow-up last time, that's principally ahead of Sarasota Sunshine and Steel Free. On the evidence of her handicap debut win the pick looks as though this trip would suit so it was a little bit of a concern she didn't seem to last home over shorter last time. She was only just held that day so she looks worth giving another chance to now upped in trip. Sarasota Sunshine returned from nearly 300 days away from the racecourse to find just the one too good. She should be fitter for that and she has a good chance of going one better. Steel Free was only just denied my Moretta Blanche at Salisbury last time and while consistency has never been her forte she can go close if running up to that form again. Island Home ran a solid UK debut on his last start after missing a lot of action so now race sharp should be a contender but improvement will be needed to beat Scarcity.
