Verdict

SIR ECTOR is rated 101 on the Flat where he's won six times and though he's yet to hit the same kind of heights over hurdles there's still time and he can concede weight all round. Point The Toes scored on the Flat at Carlisle last month and hasn't been running badly over timber though could be a few pounds high. Dashing Lady went up 8lb for her victory at Killarney in July and has continued to rise in the weights without winning. Manuka hasn't shown any real ability but any Tony Martin-trained entry having his first start in a handicap has to be respected, especially as he has some decent form on the Flat. Ballyfin Boy is better known as a chaser but can revert to hurdles on a 26lb lower mark so could quite easily get involved in the finish.
