Verdict

This has been run six times in the past and Aidan O'Brien has won the lot. The master of Ballydoyle has six entries here and jockey bookings, though never entirely reliable, suggest RECITAL, who is related to a couple of Group winners, is the one to be with in their quest for a seven-timer. Giants Serapis and The High Man are the best of those with experience though both appear vulnerable so it would be no surprise to see other newcomers such as Darwins Theory, who is by Montjeu out of an unraced mare, the Sadler's Wells colt Train Of Thought, and the filly Crystal Highness, proving bigger threats to the O'Brien monopoly of the race.
