In depth

Verdict

STRAIT OF ZANZIBAR has been a big disappointment this campaign and drops into this lowly grade for the first time after competing in Listed company. He won at that level last season and has to be the selection though he was beaten so far at Leopardstown last week that he doesn't look an automatic choice. In receipt of lumps of weight, Sophies Echo should prove a threat. She was last of six behind the selection in that Listed contest but was only receiving 3lb and and gets 19lb here. Top Man Michael looks next best as, though still a maiden, he should be winning soon.
