Verdict

Tom Madden put SCOOPING's fitness to good use when his mount made all for a convincing victory in testing conditions at Leopardstown. She's been raised a massive 14lb but her rider can claim half back and, providing the ground remains on the easy side, she can go in again. John Constable has been beaten at short odds in all three starts to date but still has a big weight to carry. He's superbly bred and should be capable of much better this season though probably over further. Relentless Pursuit didn't appear to enjoy front-running at Dundalk and she should do better but Urban Moon looks a little high in the weights for what he's achieved. Greanta improved last term when sent over a mile so it was a surprise to see her back over 7f for her final start where she was outpaced.
