        Verdict

        Lord Jim finished just in front of Purple over this C&D three weeks ago and there's no reason to suggest a form reversal. JIMTOWN had been a frustrating type until gaining his first success on fast ground at Ballinrobe. The assessor hasn't gone overboard and, as he's run well on soft ground in the past, he's taken to follow up. Summer Knight didn't show too much in his first season but made a very promising reappearance on ground with plenty of give at Gowran and looks certain to be in the shake-up. Fluidity ran his best race to date on soft ground and he's another with chances in an open finale.
