SHOOTIN THE BREEZE was having just his third run for Colm Murphy when scooting up in a beginners' chase at Thurles. He still looked as though lacking experience that day and makes his handicap debut here but has plenty of scope and can go in again. In receipt of almost two stone, the consistent Yeoman should get involved though he's now run 11 times over fences without winning and remains on the same sort of mark. Any Bets is definitely a spring horse so a long absence since he scored at Ballinrobe in April shouldn't be a concern while Tiernan's Terror is just 1lb higher than for his latest success over fences and looked on the way back to form at Gowran in January. Ballyburke was a progressive hurdler who makes his debut in a handicap over fences after a couple of fair runs and he's the type to do much better.
