Verdict
An entry in the Sussex Stakes suggests there is much more expected of EMPEROR CLAUDIUS and he looked the part when comfortably accounting for Luisant on his return to action at Fairyhouse last week. Jembatt is progressing at a rate of knots and his convincing victory over the C&D a couple of weeks ago is proof that he can go on to better things and he's engaged in the Group 3 The Minstrel Stakes at the Curragh next month. Prince Jock found 1m2f much too far at Navan last time and had performed better over this trip on his earlier starts.
