Verdict

Limerick Lane ran three times over fences before unshipping his rider at the first on his hurdling debut at Fairyhouse last weekend. Special Bar ran well in a Tipperary handicap in June and started favourite on his next two starts but ran poorly, as he did at Downpatrick last time. Shattered Dream has shown promise between the flags and Gordon Elliott will get the best out of him but TROUBLED should win this if straight enough after an absence. He ran an excellent race when runner-up in a huge field over the C&D in February and came up against some decent opposition on his only subsequent start at Leopardstown in March.
