Verdict

Fromajacktoaking had looked a bit disappointing before landing a Down Royal claimer after which he's continued to make progress. He's been raised 5lb for last month's success on heavy ground at the Curragh and this is his toughest task to date. BEYOND THANKFUL looked a certain future winner when tackling heavy ground at Listowel last month and duly obliged in the easiest of fashion at Roscommon. This is his first start in a handicap but there's more to come and he can follow up. Snow Queen has to be a threat as she landed a maiden at the Curragh on very testing ground and has competed at a much higher level subsequently. Lightnin Hopkins shouldn't be dismissed despite a couple of moderate runs as they have been at a high level and he won twice over the C&D in the summer while the top pair, Muaanid and Karamaya, both won on their debuts before tackling Group races and performing with credit.
