Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has won five of the last 10 renewals and has three entered here. Treaty Of Rome, who cost $180,000 as a foal, went for an astonishing $2.5m as a yearling but surprisingly this is his only entry. Cenotaph is in the Irish 2000 Guineas and could prove best of the trio at this stage ahead of Headquarters. HUNT has only been narrowly beaten in both starts and the form of both has worked out quite well so he's taken to get off the mark, though the market should tell us more about the chances of several nicely-bred newcomers including Eddie Lynam's Captain Power, who is bred to be very speedy.
