SOCIAL RISER had a few runs on the Flat in the UK for Charlie Hills before making her debut over timber in a Grade 3 at Fairyhouse. Not surprisingly she was well beaten but did much better behind Vercingetorix at Limerick and this looks a moderate event. I'll Be Your Clown was much the better of them on the Flat and also ran in the same Grade 3 on his hurdling bow but didn't make much of an impression though he should also improve. Black Label won on the Flat at Dundalk last month but was beaten a long way on his debut over timber at Leopardstown when the former Mark Johnston-trained winner Zanouska was even further behind. The newcomers Turbojet and Its Friday are both bred for the job and wouldn't need to be world-beaters to make a successful start so the market may prove a valuable guide.
