Verdict

Private Ryan made a winning handicap debut at Dundalk last week but that was a very moderate race and a 5lb rise won't help. The veteran Silly Dancer finished five lengths behind but will have needed the run and it wouldn't be a surprise to see her reverse the form. Legendary Times, Landsdowne and CAPTAIN JAMES occupied the places behind Mrs Batt over 7f at Limerick last week and, as they were all returning from a break, can make further progress. The latter really caught the eye that day when staying on strongly and he looks the one to take from the race. Johnny Killahena will ensure he gets a good ride and his mount can gain his first success. Via Mia always does her best but appears better on Polytrack nowadays.
