In depth

Verdict

The Buck had dropped to a very fair mark when scoring on heavy ground at Cork last Sunday and he's 9lb higher here. Young rider David Splaine came in for praise after finding the better going on the outside that day and today's conditions will be just as testing. Sainte Kadette had Stonehatchetmad a neck behind in a similar race to this over 2m2f at Wexford but the longer trip should suit the runner-up and he appears to have more scope. RINGFORT has run well in big fields at Punchestown on his two latest starts and it's about time he lost his maiden tag. He should get a good ride from Shane Butler and neither going nor trip will be a problem. Uncommited has been in good form but prefers a longer trip.
