CHAMPAGNE JAMES was only beaten half-a-length by Mister Nibbles over a slightly longer trip at Leopardstown two weeks ago when Spa Hill was a staying-on fifth. John Nicholson's charge could get closer today with Davy Russell taking over the reins from an amateur but we still expect Ted Walsh's six-year-old to come out on top and make it third-time lucky over hurdles. Vic Dancer appears to be improving with experience and the extra yardage might help but Toubaloo hasn't been seen since finishing third on his racecourse debut here a little under 12 months ago. Last month's course and distance third Cappacurry Zak may be best of the rest.
