Verdict

Aidan O'Brien and Ger Lyons have won the last two renewals between them and their representatives look set to dominate again having the edge on experience on their rivals. CAPE CLEAR ISLAND is just preferred to Dandyleekie, though the latter got upset in the stalls before his latest second over this trip at Navan. The Ballydoyle colt made it third-time lucky at Fairyhouse last month and is capable of further progress. Tagg's Island is related to three winners and could prove the pick of the newcomers.
