Verdict

Danetime Lord has hit form at the right time and can account for Garlogs and Woodwee in the finale. Danetime Lord had shown improvement on the all-weather this year and was having only his sixth career outing in all when landing a low-key three-year-old handicap at Wolverhampton just over a fortnight ago. He stuck to his task well once striking the front, and with more to come he should be able to withstand a small rise in the weights. Garlogs has been in good form on the all-weather and was probably unlucky to bump into the in-form Stoneacre Boy at Southwell last time. He can hopefully carry his form over to Turf as well and should be in there at the finish. Woodwee failed to stay when trying to dominate over seven furlongs at Southwell last time and so this drop back in trip should help, while both of Mick Easterby's's runners, Beverley Polo and Mormeatmic should be noted for movement in the market. Danetime Lord is the one with the progressive profile though and is the pick.
