Verdict

Excel Bolt completed a double over course and distance as a two-year-old but he hasn't won since. Mappin Time has plenty of early pace and the drop back to 5f should be no problem while Alaskan Bullet should go well off his current mark and is fit from racing on the all-weather. Thirteen Shivers also has an outing on Polytrack under his belt, but the vote goes to LUPIN POOTER. He was a winner over today's trip at Ayr and Newmarket last season and looks capable of better still this year. Gandalak is a 6f winner in the French provinces and has his first start for a new yard today.
