Verdict

Oldjoesaid is a rare winner nowadays although he remains well handicapped on his best form despite a 6lb rise for a recent success at Catterick. Da'Quonde has been raised 9lb for his runaway victory over C&D a fortnight ago but that looked the weaker division as LIBERTY ISLAND recorded a faster time when beating Silvanus a length earlier on the same card. Ian Semple's charge is taken to follow up here on that basis. The Nifty Fox could prove best of the remainder as Missile Attack, Sandwith and Come On Dave all have plenty to find with the principals on recent running.
