Verdict

Whippasnapper and Albashoosh are sure to be popular here but we will take a chance and put forward Ballyhurry as the one to beat. The selection has the services of the promising claimer Nicky Mackay and he confirmed his well-being when running creditably behind Flur Na H Alba last time at Ayr. He has conditions to suit and could go well at an each-way price. Whippasnapper was a beaten favourite behind She's Our Lass at Ayr last time, but he was a little unlucky on that day as he was flying at the finish and he is sure to run his race here once again. Albashoosh ran well from a wide draw at Ayr last time, when finishing narrowly ahead of our selection, so he is sure to make the frame, while Riska King would not be out of this on the pick of his form. This is a tricky race for punters to call but we will side with Ballyhurry as our idea of the winner.
