Verdict

Prejudical can confirm form with Jaasey in the event of none of the newcomers being good enough. Mark Johnston's charge was been pushed along from some way out on debut but that was on a sticky surface at Ripon and the fact that Kevin Darley has been booked is a highly positive sign. Jaasey has had his chances. He was beaten fair and square at Ripon by our selection and does not look to be one of Mick Channon's better juveniles. Myths and Verses was an expensive purchase at the sales in comparison to the horses that are regularly making their way into Tim Easterby's care. The trainer did have a shock two-year-old winner on Saturday evening and this type certainly looks precocious enough on breeding to be making her presence felt. Memphis Man is another to have a distinct speed influence in the pedigree and as a close relation to Bishop's Court, he is watched in the market for any positive vibes. Verite is also speedily bred but Mark Polglaise's recent record with juveniles hardly inspires confidence. Prejudicial can make full use of match-fitness to score in the juvenile maiden.
