Verdict

Spice Bar has won four times over hurdles and may have been held up too far off the pace over 2m at Uttoxeter on his chasing debut. He should do better over this longer trip while Baaher has the past form to figure, though has now had nine starts over the larger obstacles. Sambelucky has shown some promise and first-time blinkers could bring about further improvement after a rather lacklustre effort at Market Rasen but we'll take a chance on HOLE IN ONE. A first-fence blunder did her no favours at Hexham on her fencing bow but she recovered to have every chance approaching the last and should go close with a clear round here. Stand Clear is a half-sister to a winning chaser and has been knocking on the door over hurdles but her stable is struggling for winners.
