    Verdict

With the Bryan Smart juveniles still in such good form Firewalker has to be the choice here ahead of Mazzanti and Maracana Boy. The seelction finished behind Mazzanti when they were in the places behind Philario at Carlisle. The fact that Bryan takes this one on again and the form of the yard, suggests that she could be capable of reversing the running this afternoon. Maracana Boy has shown plenty of speed in two races to date and will find this company a little less taxing than his recent Chester opponents. Premium Port and Firenza Bond both ran with encouragement on their debuts and are others to consider for each-way purposes, but our idea of the winner is Firewalker.
