Baylaw Star, Wahoo Sam and Ballyhurry are three against the field in this trappy maiden and the narrow vote is given to Baylaw Star. The selection was a fair seventh in a handicap behind Harvest Warrior last time out. This represents a drop in class and despite top weight under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Wahoo Sam rates the main danger on his latest third behind Ballhurry but he is best when allowed to dominate and as he looks sure to be taken on for the lead he is opposed. Ballyhurry was outclassed in a handicap last time but will relish the return to claiming company and he should be watched in the market off what looks a fair mark.
