Verdict

Platinum and Merchant Of Dubai have both won over 1m6f this season but Hawk Mountain scored over today's distance at Thirsk earlier this month. Major Domo finished well ahead of both Mason Hindmarsh and Harrison's Cave when scoring at Newcastle last time but this is tougher and ALEKSANDAR is preferred. He was eased down once his chance had gone in better company at York last time but a repeat of his earlier second to Dr Irv at Catterick should see Jim Goldie's charge involved in the finish once again.
