    Verdict

Sea Storm can land what looks a competitive handicap, with Pintle, Azreme and Doctorate not out of things either. Sea Storm goes well here and had Kirkby's Treasure back in third when picking up his second win at the track three weeks ago. He had more use made of him then than at Ayr previously, and as long as Robert Winston employs the same tactics, the six-year-old should be in the thick of things again. He is still not badly treated compared to his old form for Roger Fisher, and is taken to beat Pintle. The latter has been in good form this season, scoring three times from just six outings, so has to be on the short-list. Kieren McEvoy gave her a well judged ride at Newcastle last time and is sure to have briefed Frankie Dettori who sits on her for the first time. Strictly at the weights, Azreme is closely matched with Sea Storm, but as stated, the selection got going too late at Ayr and different tactics should see the placings reversed this time. Doctorate has topweight to overcome but has been keeping fair company so should not be ruled out either. However, we return to Sea Storm as the selection.
