The veteran DHAULAR DAR has mainly been confined to racing around a mile this summer but stays much further as his excellent second over hurdles at Perth last week suggests. He's on a low enough mark these days to give a good account and could spring a surprise. Bayan Kasirga took advantage of easier ground conditions to score at Thirsk and her saddle slipped when fancied at Hamilton next time. She rates a threat along with the three-year-old Grey Blue, who hasn't had much racing and could still have some scope. Dean Iarracht wins his share of races and is only 1lb higher than his recent victory at Newcastle while High On A Hill stays further than this and a strong pace would play to his strengths. Burns Night won over hurdles recently but isn't as well treated on the Flat.
