In depth

Verdict

Punters have to pick their way through a field littered with C&D winners here. SANDS OF DEE is one of those and it was soft ground when he scored here last season. He might be his turn again today and Dandy Nicholls' charge is just preferred to last month's Hamilton winner Dancing Freddy, who will also handle the going. The progressive Wicked Wilma cannot be ignored bidding for her fourth straight win and she had Midnight Dynamo behind last time, while the latter had earlier beaten Blown It over track and trip and he in turn is closely matched with last week's Catterick winner Tongalooma.
