In depth

Verdict

Silent Movie made a winning start at Wolverhampton but will do well to get the better of stablemate COMMISSIONED. The latter spreadeagled the field at Catterick last time beating a subsequent winner 11 lengths and is the one to beat on that evidence. Deficit has gone close the last twice but has been raised 10lb for his efforts while Slip of The Tongue's winning run came to an end off today's mark at Southwell in August. A regular at Chester, Gabrial The Master failed to stay 2m2f at York on Saturday while both Aramist and Allnecessaryforce take a big step up in class.
