Verdict

INGLEBY STAR is tough and consistent and is the form pick to win again, while Obe Gold and Fivefootnumberone can both fight it out for the minor honours. The selection has improved since the application of cheek pieces winning three times. He has risen up the weights as a consequence but connections have placed him well and he can once again get his head in front. Obe Gold landed back to back victories at Hamilton and Catterick before being narrowly beaten at Bath last time out. In this grade he is a force to be reckoned with so any support in the market should be noted. Fivefootnumberone drops in grade for the first time. He was good enough to win a handicap at Haydock back in May and if anywhere near his best he is sure to go close. Ingley Star has been winning better races than this and can add to his winning tally.
