In depth

Verdict

Lady Intrigue is from a decent family and needs a check in the market but those to have raced already should come to the fore and the pick of them looks to be QENAA. One of two Mark Johnston-trained representatives, our selection split a talented pair at Goodwood when last seen 72 days ago. The winner of that contest has gone on to achieve a rating of 95 while the second, a very well regarded horse, has since landed a maiden in facile fashion. That bodes well for the chances of Qenaa who is bred to get the seventh furlong and should be fine on the ground. It's the trip that slightly puts us off In Babylon, who shaped like a sure-fire future winner at Wolverhampton having taken time to get going, but like Home Office and Conducting he should improve on his debut, enough to leave the likes of Icy Blue and Sabratha trailing.
