Verdict

Moon Indigo had a few well-regarded novices behind when fourth to Court In Motion in a Grade 2 at Warwick last month. Taken literally, that form would probably be good enough here but Howard Johnson's five-year-old hasn't much in the way of pace and that may be a disadvantage on this sharp track. SKINT gets the vote, therefore, having shown plenty of dash behind the well-backed Ski Sunday over shorter in a handicap at Kempton three weeks ago. Bridlingtonbygones was beaten in a couple of minor events at Sedgefield in the autumn and likely to struggle in this on that evidence, but Gentleman Jeff should stay this longer trip and can improve on his first start for Chris Grant at Catterick.
