Verdict

Leading Score finished 4l behind Im Too Generous on his debut here in November where he took an age to get going but stayed on nicely. ONE MORE GO made a bright start over 1m4f at Wetherby and started favourite to get off the mark at Newcastle but found Virnon just too strong. The winner has since run reasonably well in a Listed contest at Cheltenham so the form looks good enough for this. Ca Le Ferra couldn't go the pace with the front pair here last month when Vaulkie was behind and both will need to do much better. The market is best watched to determine the chances of the two newcomers.
