La Bacouetteuse won last year's renewal so a big improvement on his seasonal debut at Newcastle is expected. He finished well behind third-placed Graceful Descent on that occasion, however, and the latter is not without claims in this either. Discay got off the mark at Southwell in February only to disappoint at the same track last time so it's anybody's guess how he performs so BRASINGAMAN ERIC makes more appeal. The latter missed the whole of 2012 but showed signs of a resurgence when third at Newcastle last time and is on a winning mark if right back to his best today.
