Verdict

RACING PULSE was withdrawn from a Grade 2 at Doncaster last week on account of the heavy going. He ran well in a decent contest at Cheltenham after winning at Newcastle and, with the step up to 3m certain to suit, should get back to winning ways today. Despite racing freely, Medieval Chapel wasn't disgraced at Ascot last time and has plenty of scope. He makes more appeal than Doncaster third Powerscourt Dreams and Seeyouatmidnight, who was a 66/1 chance when winning a Hexham novice event in December. Clondaw Hero showed his Bangor run was all wrong when scoring by 10 lengths over course and distance in November but faces much tougher opposition now.
