      Verdict

A very tight handicap in which none can be dismissed. Mark Johnston has won three of the last four and has three entered today. Joe Fanning probably had the pick and has opted for Love Marmalade over Blue Wave and Alta Lilea. His mount may not have been suited by making the running at Yarmouth after scoring at Nottingham and is expected to do better. Van Percy overcame trouble in-running to snatch victory at Haydock and will make a bold bid but it's ESTEAMING who gets the verdict as he could hardly have been more impressive at York though a bit of rain wouldn't go amiss.
