Verdict

CURRENT EVENT has been in terrific form between the flags and has won six times under Rules. He can maintain his winning sequence here ahead of Foundry Square and Cottage Oak. Beggar's Velvet would have each-way claims on his best form while Walden has travelled over from County Antrim, though he'll have to do better than when tailed off at Downpatrick on Boxing Day. King Fontaine may need another run while Monsieur Jourdain has his first start since April last year when finishing behind King Fontaine.
