Verdict

Safety Check hit the ground running with a comfortable victory in a handicap a fortnight ago. He wasn't quite up to Group company here a year ago but this isn't the toughest Group 2 so he should go well. Mike De Kock has three entries and though Zahee will have benefited from his recent run on Dirt he was beaten such a long way that he may just need another outing. Red Ray had excellent form at the highest level in South Africa so he's something of an unknown but ANAEROBIO has all the credentials for this. A regular around here since arriving from South America, he won this a year ago and ended the campaign with fine efforts in top company. Encipher has been going well at Jebel Ali though takes a big step up in class but Eastern Rules did superbly well here a year ago and Mick Halford will have him ready despite a long lay-off.
