Saeed Bin Suroor has four entries and jockey bookings tell us little. Flag Officer once looked a fine prospect but pulled up lame when last seen at York in May and Alkimos was a big disappointment here a year ago. Expense Claim looks the pick of the quartet as he was placed at Listed level in the UK last summer though it could be Paul Hanagan's turn again on JAWHAR. The former champion jockey was on board when his mount completed a hat-trick for William Haggas in the autumn and also for his first start for new connections at Jebel Ali a fortnight ago when just behind stablemate Mantoba. He looked as though the race would do him good that day and he can reverse the form with the winner and return to winning ways. Maali, who finished a close third in that latter race, is respected along with Layali Al Andalus, who has been going well on Tapeta and deserved his success last month.
