In depth

Verdict

GARBAH began the year on a mark of 69 and is now on 96 after three victories. He hasn't had much racing and there looks more to come so he can get straight back on the winning track. He holds Cinderkamp on their run here in March but Russian Rock is a class act at his best who landed a Listed contest at Jebel Ali in March where he had Alo Pura behind before finding the Golden Shaheen too hot. A back to form Green Beret would be a threat though he hasn't run well for a long time. Bartolomeu won twice on Polytrack in April for Marco Botti and ran very well in tough handicaps at Newmarket subsequently. He looks a really nice acquisition for Ernst Ortel and should win races in Dubai.
