HILALI beat King's Wharf and Dalmo at Newton Abbot last month and improved again when giving weight and a beating to Indepub at Stratford. The runner-up has won at Sedgefield and Perth since so the form looks solid and Gary Brown's charge can end the unbeaten record of the latter's stablemate Halogen, who has won easily here and at Bangor but has been taking on modest opposition. Grand Gold was behind Halogen over C&D on his second start while Don't Take Me Alive, Saffa Hill and Rosie's Lady will have to be useful to win this on debut.
