In depth

Verdict

A poor seller gets proceedings underway but something has to win and the principals look to be Blushing Hilary, Dennick and Ardesia and the narrow vote is given to Blushing Hillary. The selection was a fair eighth behind My Arch in a better race last time out, is dropping in grade here and with the fitting of first time blinkers likely to have a positive effect she looks the one to be on. Dennick rates the main danger on his best form and he goes well fresh so he should be watched in the market but consistency is not his strong point Ardesia is another that could go well as he is well weighted with some of these compared to what he would be in a handicap. Santera is game and consistent and is sure to run her race but she has had plenty of chances in similar races without winning and again looks vulnerable and with this in mind for the winner we return to Blushing Hillary.
