Verdict

DAN BUOY can follow up a recent win though Brave Rebellion and At The Money will prove stout opposition. Although not blessed with the most pleasing of head carriages, there was not a lot wrong with Dan Buoy's recent success at Wetherby and under a penalty, he makes plenty of appeal in a race where there are question marks about many. Brave Rebellion has made up into a classy chaser though it would be no surprise to see him need this first outing of the season. At The Money had been running well on the flat so it was no surprise to see him run creditably at Sandown on his first hurdling start of the campaign. Court Ruler has shown little on this surface in the past. Flying Doctor is arguably little better than plating class. Markington drops in trip this afternoon whilst Karathena will be long odds despite demonstrating her better efforts around here in the past. Dan Buoy secures the verdict on this occasion.
