Verdict

The 2008 winner Snoopy Loopy provided Peter Bowen with a hat-trick of wins in this event so Dineur looks sure to go well despite a penalty for last week's victory at Stratford. Paddy The Hare is another with leading claims after scoring over track and trip last time with Gentleman Anshan a well beaten third though he's been upped 12lb for his trouble. The latter had earlier beaten Woolcombe Folly at Stratford while Problema Tic got the better of Buck Mulligan over 3m at Perth last month and today's fast ground will suit. Viva Colonia won the Summer Hurdle here in 2011 and has proved even better over fences. However, the latter's stablemate BOCCIANI continues to improve and after scoring over 2m4f at this course on his latest start, Brian Ellison's chaser gets the nod to land the usual competitive renewal.
