Verdict

Ballylifen failed to cope with a 7lb rise for an earlier win at Uttoxeter when only third on his latest start. Keltic Rhythm has also come up short in a couple of subsequent starts since scoring at Fontwell in March. Fair Bramble didn't get far before falling over these fences last month and is 8lb higher than his Towcester success while Quel Bruere is raised in class after a second at Worcester. PICAROON hasn't won for some time now but still gets a tentative vote as he went very close at Exeter off today's mark before being outclassed behind Karinga Dancer in better company last time.
