Verdict

Gone Forever is facing a tougher task than when winning at Catterick last month. He should be in the mix once again but MONBEG THEATRE may prove too good. The latter improved from his debut to claim second place behind Call Me Vic at Warwick last time and can go on better. Both Arden Dennis and Orby's Man won point-to-point events in November and make their debuts under Rules, while Astaroland wasn't beaten far when third at Sedgefield on his racecourse bow. Sir Safir has has plenty to find with Gone Forever.
